She was predeceased by: her parents, Tupito Veve (Alai) and Sam H. Godinet. She is survived by: her husband Emmett; her son Jaziel Sommers of Los Angeles, California; and her siblings, Ruth E. Carvalho (Glenn) of Kapaʻa, Wayne of Oceanside, California, Dale Godinet of Oceanside, California, Wilson Godinet of Oceanside and Randall B. Godinet (Michelle). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
