He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Diederich and Florence Diederich (Crimmins); and his siblings, Marilyn Meinhardt, Agnes Marie and Dallas Diederich (Lorraine).
He is survived by: his children, Becky Heinrichs (Jeff) of New Port Richey, FL and Tim (Lisa) of Wamego, KS.; his grandchildren, April Diederich, Casey Woltje (Eric), Korhy Flanary (Megan), Kahm Flanary (Honesty) and Emmah Heinrichs; his great grandchildren, Adler, Brooks Woltje, Oliver, Nancy Flanary, Walker and Evelyn Flanary; and his siblings, Norma Lewis, Doug Diederich and Dwight Diederich (Patty).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Good Shepherd Hospice House, Manhattan, KS and left in care of Stewart Funeral Home of Wamego, PO Box 48, 66547.
