He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Mazer and Irene Mazer (Yarbor); his wife Betty Elane Young; and his siblings, John Mazer, Barnie Mazer, Alma Newhouse and Samual Mazur.
He is survived by: his children, Donette Carter and Tom Mazer (Michelle); his grandchildren, Amie Overstreet (Lonnie), Eric Carter, Chase Mazer, Cole Mazer of Missouri and Koleby McClinick; his great grandchild Lily Dulaney; and his sister Velda Smith.
