He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Robben and Viola Robben (Hammerschmidt); his in-laws, Virgil and Wilma Staab; his brother James Robben (Jane); his grandson Landry Robben; his great grandchild Blakely Gagnon; and his nephew Kevin Staab.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Staab; his children, Jason Robben of Victoria, Kansas and Christina Sramek (Ryan) of Hays; his grandchild Haley Gagnon (Connor) of Walker; his great grandchildren, Whitten, Wilkes and Banks; his grandchild Talyn Robben of Victoria; and his brothers, Leroy Robben (Karen) of Salina and Melvin Robben (Patty) of Salina.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. Ann Catholic Church (1275 Walker Ave, Walker, KS 67674). A rosary was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials in Norman's name be made to St. Ann's Church, HaysMed Hospice, or Breakthrough Type 1 Diabetes (T1D).
