She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander J. "Alex" and Clara Windholz (Mermis); her husband Richard A. Brown; her siblings, Arlene Brown of Ellis, KS, Evelyn Dreher, Amelda Bieker, Viola Weigel, Louis Windholz, Edward Windholz and Francis Windholz; and her grandson Clayton Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Colene Schmitt (JW), Richard Brown, Jr., Jolene Purvis (Joe), Roger Brown of Walker, KS, Galene Steckel (Rod) and Rodney Brown (Michelle); and her sisters-in-law, Henrietta Windholz of Hays, KS and Rosie Guerico of Victoria, KS. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
