He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lawrence Flickinger and Anna Flickinger (Gombita); his brothers, Jim, Fred and Jack; his wife Brigitte Flickinger of Wakefield, Kansas.; his children, William, II (Patricia Flickinger) of Wakefield, Kansas., Kevin (Darla Knepper Flickinger) of Manhattan, Kansas., Steven (Toka Flickinger) of Auburn, Kansas. and Helen (Keith Padgett) of Sheridan; his grandchildren, Samantha, Kelly, Erin, Virginia, Korbyn, Lacey, Lauren, Eli, Gavin, Stephanie and William; and his sister Susan Lentz of Blairsville, Pennsylvania..
