He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Avery and Grace Avery (Gulley). He is survived by: his children, Richard III (Tiffany Avery) of Wakefield, KS and Tisha (Randy Croney) of Oakland, AR; his brother Daniel (Jean Avery) of Crystal City, MO; and his grandchildren, Haylie (Colton Drake) of Wymore, NE, Bailee, Emily Avery of Wakefield, KS, Brenton Ross of Jonesboro, AR and Kayson Croney of Oakland, AR..

Memorials: Can be made out to the Richard Avery II memorial fund to be designated at a later date.

“With all my heart, I am so sorry for the loss of a good man. Richard & I were good friends. We shared a love of garage sales & flea markets. He always picked up anything that had a wolf on it for me. And I made him lots of dinners, which he so appreciated. We also watched many of the Chief's games together. We talked of watching them play the Jaguars this Sunday. He was a good father, a good grandfather & a good friend. Goodbye Richard, you will be sadly missed. Thoughts/prayers family.”
