He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilhelm Nimz and Celia Nimz (Rufenacht); his siblings, Fred, Leroy, Willie Nimz, Emma Moody and Celia Nimz; and his daughter-in-law Barb Nimz.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Nimz (Richmeier); his children, Daryl Nimz of Ottawa, Mark Nimz (Joleen) of WaKeeney Kansas, Kevin Nimz (Sandy) of Salina, Larry Nimz (Lindy) of Littleton, Colorado and Jill Hemenway (Bob) of McPherson, Kansas; and his sister Marjorie Cotton of Hoisington, Kansas. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
