It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Marie Michaelis (Wakeeney, Kansas), born in Russell, Kansas, who passed away on July 13, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Wiedeman and Susanna Wiedeman (Eichman); her husband Elmer Michaelis; her brothers, Hubert and Clarence Wiedeman; and her close friend Dick Woodall.
She is survived by: her children, Arla Homburg of Stockton and Tye Michaelis (Lisa) of Topeka; her grandchildren, Aaron Homburg (Nichol), Andrew Homburg (Tara), Neely Halsey (Jacob) and Charly Michaelis; her great grandchildren, Sylas Halsey, KaiLee Medlen, Terran Homburg, Joseph Raat, Brogan Homburg, Rowen Homburg and Rylin Homburg; and her great great grandchildren, MonRoe Medlen, Emma and Elijah Raat.
Memorial Contributions may be given to the Bethlehem Lutheran Church or the Trego County Lemke Memorial Hospital Long-Term Care.
