Edwin Richmeier Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edwin Richmeier (Wakeeney, Kansas), who passed away on November 12, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph A. Richmeier and Elizabeth Richmeier (Dinkel); his wife Agnes Flax of Mary's Church; his daughter Jeanette Wideman; his son-in-law Mark Conrady; his great grandchild Garrett; and his sisters, Blanche Zerr, Louella Kinderknecht, Carmella Jones and Clarita Kolhoff.
He is survived by: his children, Judi Feldt (Chuck) of Hoxie, KS, Shirley Eichman (Randy) of Fort Myers, FL, Cathy Conrady of Lakin, KS, Kenneth Richmeier (Vera) of WaKeeney, KS and James Richmeier (Anna) of WaKeeney, KS; his grandchildren, Brad Feldt (Melanie), Kevin Feldt, Jason Feldt (Haley), Cory Feldt, Nicole Percival (Mitch), Eric Ginn (Megan), Elicia Langler (Garry), Taylor Conrady (Melissa), Timothy Wideman (Paige), Samantha Evans (Tyrone), James Richmeier (Kaitlyn) and Joey Richmeier; and his siblings, Eileen Bellairs and Larry Richmeier. He is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren.
A rosary was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the Schmitt Funeral Home (336 N 12th St, WaKeeney, KS 67672). Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 5:45 PM to 7:00 PM at the Schmitt Funeral Home - WaKeeney (336 N 12th St, WaKeeney, KS 67672). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Christ the King Catholic Church (412 N 9th St, WaKeeney, KS 67672). A wake was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:45 AM at the St. Anthony Cemetery.
