Virg Koci Obituary

With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Virg Koci of Virgil, Kansas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Virg left this world on December 6, 2024 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Koci and Mildred Koci (Whitten); his wife Barbara; and his siblings, Doris Garcia, Eugene (Josephine), Allen and Russell Koci.

He is survived by: his daughters, Chris Massoni, Julie Bruns (Kevin), Sandy Siebert (Mike), Laura Marple (Dave) and Karla Koci; his grandchildren, Drew (Megan), Clair Massoni (Emily), Meagan Rodenberg (Daniel), Joshua Marple (Yasi), Corey Bruns (Sydney), Kayla Marple, Toby and Noah Siebert; his sister Gertrude Bidwell (Don); and his siblings-in-law, Jessie Koci, Karen Franke and Vernon Brobst (Marilyn). He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren, many other family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Southwest Chapel (3700 SW Wanamaker Rd, Topeka, KS 66610). A memorial service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
