With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita H. Gorges of Viola, Kansas, who passed away on August 26, 2022 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband William "Bill" D. Gorges, Sr.; her parents, Oscar Rousseau and Elizabeth Rousseau (Huser); her siblings, Mary "Kay" Williams and Urban J. Rousseau; and her grandson David W. Cordell.
She is survived by: her children, Albert Gorges (Colette) of Wichita, Felix Gorges (Kim) of Goddard, Fred Gorges (Chris) of Clearwater, Annette McAtee (Dennis) of Tulsa, OK, Mary Kohls (Doug) of Clearwater, Matt Gorges (Diane) of Boswell, OK, Bernadette Cordell (Kavin) of Viola, Monica Maus (Martin) of Viola, Rev. Bernie Gorges of Ost, Bill Gorges, Jr. (Jody) of Viola and Joe Gorges (Kathy) of Colwich. She is also survived by 63 grandchildren, 65 + 4 on the way great-grandchildren.
