He was predeceased by: his former wife Ruth; and his daughter Mickie. He is survived by: his wife Velma 'Ruth Cornelison; and his children, Richard (Elaine), Angela Smitherman, Lisa Barnes (Randy) and Ronald. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.
