Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Anita Stang of Victoria, Kansas, born in Catharine, Kansas, who passed away at the age of 100, on November 30, 2020. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob A. Schmidt and Elizabeth Schmidt (Staab); her husband Albert Stang; her son Thom Stang; and her siblings, Alois "Al" Schmidt, James Schmidt, Harold Schmidt, Leopoldina "Tina" Mathes, Helen Brodecker, Ernestine Anderson, Frieda Boies, Lydia Brull and Dora Lee Robertston.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Patrick Stang (Cathy), Marilyn Pflughoeft (Roger) and Ruth Brunts (Richard); her daughter-in-law Ruann Stang of Ellsworth, KS; her grandchildren, Dylan Stang (Kristel), Elizabeth Stang (Alex Richards) and John Stang; and her great grandchildren, Asher, Avery, Abram Stang and Viviann Richards.
Social distancing and wearing masks will be required at the visitation and funeral services.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the Dechant Foundation for Priests/Seminarians of Dodge City Diocese or the Victoria Daughters of Isabella.
