He was predeceased by: his mother Ida Lamos (Stellman); his stepfather Charles H. Lamos; and his father Richard Hinkel. He is survived by: his wife Laureen Lamos (O'Connell); his daughter Jodi Gennodie (Steven Gennodie); his grandchildren, Cooper, Bryn and Trevor Gennodie; his sister Colleen Hele (Hampton William Hele); his niece Erin Trepcyk; and his sisters-in-law, Tracey Saracelli (James Saracelli) and Kelly O'Connell (John O'Dell).
