He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Gertrude Flynn, Sr. (Huffman); his son Ronald Flynn; and his sisters, Margaret Provyn and Louise Saucerman.
He is survived by: his wife Bernice Flynn; his children, Larry Flynn of Overland Park and Becky Noone of Kansas City, Kansas; and his stepdaughter Sandy Belknap of Kansas City, Kansas. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
