She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Steere and Willa Mae Steere (Rinabarger); her daughter Peggy Roatch; and her sisters-in-law, Kay Steere and Janis Warrick.
She is survived by: her spouse Jerry Lee Rowland; her children, Pattie Piersol (Jeff) of Vassar and Ron Rowland (Rebekah Thompson) of Garnett, Kansas; her brother Larry Steere of Arlington, Texas; and her brother-in-law John Rowland (Penne). She is also survived by nine grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
