It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Lee Rowland of Vassar, Kansas, born in San Antonio, Texas, who passed away on February 10, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marvin Lee and Velma Nadine Rowland (Golden); his wife Joella Rae Steere; his daughter Peggy Ann Roatch; his siblings, John Rowland and Janice Warrick; his children, Patricia Lynn Piersol (Jeff) of Vassar and Ronald Lee Rowland (Rebekah) of Garnett; and his siblings-in-law, Penne Rowland of Williamsburg and Larry Steere of Texas. He was also cherished by nine grandchildren; and seventeen great grandchildren.
