It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Thompson (Vassar, Kansas), who passed away on February 28, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest and Eunice; and his siblings, Joe Thompson and Shirley Lindbloom. He is survived by: his spouse Barbara Johnson; his children, Gary Thompson (Bonnie) of Osage City, Ed Thompson (Penny) of Pomona, Susan Cassity of Hastings and Jessica Watts of Quenemo; and his sister Sharon Tucker (Gary) of Cabot, Arkansas. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
