It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Leon Brose of Valley Falls, Kansas, who passed away on January 1, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Brose and Leona Brose (Schneider); and his sister Charlene Wenzl (Brose). He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Ann Hamon of Mary's Immaculate Conception Catholic Church; his children, Michael Brose (Lesa) of Valley Falls, Deidre Boyd (Patrick) of Valley Falls, Jeffrey Brose (Lisa) of Fort Collins, CO and Denise Jennings (Darren) of Valley Falls; his grandchildren, Christina, Dustin, Crystal, Dianna, Travis, Kelcie, Katie, Tyler, Austin and Audrey; and his great grandchildren, Carson, Anna, Calleigh, Adelyn, Grace, Lexie, Liam, Tommy, Cameron, Anthony, Emma, Presley and Kasten.
