She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jesse Miles Laverne and Loreen Hayden (Elkinton); her spouse Veryle Dean Gilleece; her sons, Eldon and Delbert Gilleece; her sister Kay Cook; her granddaughter Amy Gilleece Cummings; her children, Greg Gilleece of Isabel, KS and Kris Carothers; and her brothers, Galen "Bud" Hayden of Valley Falls, KS and Ted Hayden of Paola, KS. She was also cherished by 6 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
