It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deanna Lynn Bernauer of Valley Falls, Kansas, born in Winchester, Kansas, who passed away on March 3, 2023, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Eugene Montgomery, Sr. and Barbara Ann Montgomery (Godfrey); and her siblings, Patricia Platt, Charles, James and Jeffrey Montgomery.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Thomas Bernauer, II; her daughters, Tonya Eastman (Chance) of Overbrook, KS and Tara Bernauer of Topeka, KS; her brother Bobby Montgomery (Winona) of Valley Falls, KS; her siblings-in-law, Pam Montgomery of Hoyt, KS, Teresa Montgomery of Topeka, KS, Tammy Wynkoop (Brad) of Valley Falls and Mark Platt of Valley Falls, KS; and her grandchildren, Gage, Taelynn, Jordan and Aurora.
