It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Elaine Edwards of Valley Falls, Kansas, who passed away on December 31, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Edgar and Dorothy Ferrell (Jackson); her husband Leland Edwards; her brother Donald Ferrell; and her granddaughter Hannah Jo Hartley.
She is survived by: her children, Dale Edwards (Shelley) of Valley Falls, KS, Dean Edwards of Cloquet, MN and Donya Hartley of Boonville, MO; her grandchildren, Haley Hisey (Matthew), Cole Edwards of Valley Falls, KS, Jeffrey Hartley of Columbia, MO, Delaney Edwards of Cloquet, MN, Ashley Kyle (Mitchell) and Georgia; and her great grandchildren, Kaycin Williams, Ryker Hisey, Adeline, Elsie and Logan Kyle.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Mercer Funeral Home (810 Broadway St, Valley Falls, KS 66088). Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at the Valley Falls Cemetery (1001 19th St, Valley Falls, KS 66088).
