With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Samuel Eugene Giessel of Valley Center, Kansas, born in Spearville, Kansas, who passed away on March 22, 2023 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Giessel and Edith Mae Giessel (Knoeber); his brother Walt; and his nephews, Jarrod, Lonnie and Travis Laudick.
He is survived by: his wife Katie; his children, Shannon Koehn (Chad) of Bentley, Kansas and Brad Giessel of Wichita; and his siblings, Rosemary Perkins of Denver, Colorado, Trina Giessel of Ft. Collins, Colorado, Jeanne Huslig (Keith) of Hutchinson, Trudy Hobbs (Pat) of Dodge City, Geralyn Chronister (Eric) of Hutchinson, Bruce Giessel (Brenda) of Dodge City, Paul Giessel of Spearville, John Giessel of Spearville and George Giessel (Joy) of Minneola. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
