It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lonnie Lee Matson of Valley Center, Kansas, who passed away on February 16, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Enos Matson and Hazel Matson (Brooksher); and his siblings, Alvin, Jean, LeRoy, Milton and Helen.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Matson (Garner); his sons, Mark of Morral, OH, Kent (Brenda) of Garden Plain, KS, Todd of Furley, KS and Dave of Valley Center, KS; his grandchildren, Conner Matson (Brooke), Daniel Greenwood (Janina), Stacey Petrie (David), Kyle Matson, Michelle Matson, Michael Miller, Lauren Matson and David Matson; and his great grandchildren, Anthony, Alex, Michaela, Oliver, Ella, Dale, Dawson and Bonnie.
