With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Mies of Valley Center, Kansas, born in Wichita, Kansas, who passed away on June 8, 2023 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonse Mies and Virginia Mies; and his brothers, Roger V. Sealey and Ron Sealey. He is survived by: his wife Christi Mies; his children, Joey Mies (Brianna), Mathias Mies and Dr. Joan Haskin (Jesse); his stepchildren, Danielle and Brandon Powell; his grandchildren, Aubrielle and Landon Mies; his sisters, Gina Gregory (Jim), Marie Saunders (Monte) and Maggie Asher (Chris Ennis); and his pet Solo.
