He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett J. "John" and Anna L. Irvin Dean; and his half-brother Dale E. Dean. He is survived by: his children, Kevin M. of Wichita, Alan D. of Wichita, Christopher J. (Emily) of Wichita and Maggie L. Smith (Scott D.) of Benton, KS.; his grandchildren, Isaac M. Dean, Anna R. Dean, Nora K. Smith and Brady S. Smith; and his half-sisters, Judy Clews of Phoenix, AZ and Merrily Havlic of Grandview, MO. He is also survived by his wife of 48 years, all his children.
