John Howard Hanson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 29, 2024, at the age of 80, John Howard Hanson of Utica, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Hanson and Mildred Hanson (Rogers); his great grandchild Olivia Salmans; his sister Rosalie Harlow; and his sister-in-law Trudy Hanson.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Birnbaum; his children, Eric Hanson (Sheila) of Park City, Laurie Bernbeck (Terry) of Utica and Cindy Rosebrook (Steve) of Topeka; and his brothers, Duane Hanson of Rifle and Dennis Hanson (Linda). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Fitzgerald Funeral Home (207 N Pennsylvania Ave, Ness City, KS 67560).
Memorial contributions may be given to the Threads of Hope, Utica Fire Department, or Pheasants Forever.
