He was predeceased by: his parents, James Orval Shinn and Thora May Nichols Shinn; and his brother Mark Shinn. He is survived by: his wife Becky; his children, Kevin Shinn (Diana) of Uniontown and Melissa Gage (Jason) of Louisburg, Kansas; his grandchildren, Emily Jefferis (Austin), Holly Richwine (Dylan), Lauren Shinn, Brayden, Bryce and Brock Gage; his great grandchild Kase Jefferis; and his brother Jack Shinn of Pittsburg.
