With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vivian Smith of Ulysses, Kansas, who passed away on April 3, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Vivian find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She was predeceased by: her father Raymond Howard; and her brother Wayne Howard. She is survived by: her mother Mary Louise Howard (Delong) of Ulysses; her son Bryan Smith (Shawna) of Ulysses; and her nephew Chris Howard (Lynn). She is also survived by children; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Garnand Funeral Home - Ulysses (405 W Grant Ave, Ulysses, KS 67880). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Ulysses Cemetery (2929 E Oklahoma Ave, Ulysses, KS 67880).
