He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen M. Coffey (Miller) and Dr. George M. Coffey; and his siblings, George M. Coffey, Jr. and Carolyn Coffey. He is survived by: his wife Maxie Ross; his children, Marla Young (Jeff) of Pickering, Missouri, Troy Coffey of Springfield, Greg Coffey (Julie) of Fort Collins and Lisa Brewer (John) of Nixa, Missouri; his stepdaughters, Janell Martin of Colorado Springs and Gaye Bloesser (Rocky) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; his brothers, Roger D. Coffey (Deana) of Lawrence and Douglas G. Coffey (Beverly) of Waxahachie, Texas; and his grandchildren, Alyssa, Bryce, Kyle, Zachary, Riley, Heather, Matthew and Colin. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
