With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Patricia Kistler of Ulysses, Kansas, born in Wichita, Kansas, who passed away on September 22, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Russell and Georgia May Shane (Miller); and her brother Mike Shane. She is survived by: her husband Ken Kistler; her children, Danny Hawkins (Rita) of Newton, Dana Hawkins-Simons (John) of Montclair and Marcy Stringham (Kyle) of Ulysses, Kansas; her stepchildren, Shelana Corrigan (Eddie) of Monks Corner, Robin Fort of Ulysses, Kyle Kistler (Camie) of Dodge City, Kenya Rudzik (Chance) of Ulysses and Thadd Kistler (Beth Ann) of Auburn, Kentucky; her half-brothers, Charles Haight (Linda) and Joe Miner (Donna); and her sisters, Jackie Smith and Jeanne Miner Wundrow (Gary). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 14 step-grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 9 step-great-grandchildren.

“I just learned that Pat Kistler is now with God! I am shocked! I am in Wales now as of last Friday. Please give Ken my love and tell him that Pat has been a true blessing in my life leading me to a much closer relationship with God! She was my rock of friendship while I was in Ulysses! She prayed with me when I was fearful of the possibility of a tornado and prayed over me when I was stressed! And without Ken and Pat I never would have gotten moved … both were my life line! Cathy Cooper”
