As Mary departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Mary. Though Mary may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Earl and Bertha May Delong (Kinnicutt); her husband Charles Raymond Howard; and her children, Wayne Howard and Vivian Smith.
She is survived by: her grandsons, Bryan K. Smith (Shawna) of Ulysses and Chris Howard (Lynn) of Phoenix, Arizona; and her sister Vergie Brewer of Whitewater, Kansas. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
