She was predeceased by: her parents, Guadalupe Barrera and Galistra Barrera (Pena); her daughters, Annabelle Ortiz and Olivia Ortiz; her grandson Theremy De La Cerda; and her siblings, Guadalupe, Martin, Micayla, Ofelia, Chavela, Lina, Lencha, Juana and Sylveria.
She is survived by: her children, Orlando Ortiz of Ulysses, KS., Jesse Ortiz (Maria), Jamie Ortiz (Natasha), Diana Hernandez (Alejandro) of Strong City, KS., Oscar Rivera of Ulysses, KS., Alexis of Ulysses, KS. and Diamyrie Ortiz of Ulysses, KS.; and her sister Margie Vidalier. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
A memorial has been established for Church of Christ of Ulysses.
