It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louis G. Garcia of Ulysses, Kansas, born in Plainview, Texas, who passed away on February 14, 2022, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernesto Garcia and Esperanza Garcia (Garcia); his siblings, Mary Valdez and Juan Garcia; his grandsons, Vicente Garcia and Giovanni Garcia; and his stepson Steven Lovato.
He is survived by: his children, Ernest (Anna Garcia), Monette Marino (Raul) of Dodge City, Lanette Garcia of Ulysses, Christina Garcia of Dodge City and Ronette Garcia (Anthony) of Dodge City; his stepchildren, Andrew Lovato (Maria) of Guymon, Levens Lovato (Rose) of Little Rock, Arkansas and Gina Lovato of Mineola, Texas; and his siblings, Wally Garcia (Dora) of Garden City, Ernie Garcia (Cindy) of Ulysses, Irene Garcia-Nieto (Jesus) of Ulysses and Salome Perez (Bob) of Lakin. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren, and 34 great-grandchildren.
