It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Letcher Waechter of Ulysses, Kansas, born in Hutchinson, Kansas, who passed away on January 8, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Olive Helen Green (Lachenmaier) and Lester Green; her husband Carl Waechter; her sister Glenda Sue Green; her grandson Karlton Waechter; and her brother-in-law Noel Taylor.
She is survived by: her children, Troy Waechter (Ronda) of Ulysses, Pamela Pleming (Jim) of Amarillo and Lori Seger (Verl) of Ulysses; her sister Jeri Lynn Taylor of Wichita; her grandchildren, Amber Tafoya (Alex), Heather Mitchell (Paul), Shalie Waechter (Matt Johnson), Jace Nuckles, Jason Pleming (Brandi), Tyler Baker (Kelley), Timothy Baker (Erica), Jara Houghton (Johnathan), Tiffany Webb (Russell), Tolan Seger (Brittney) and Larissa Seger; and her great grandchildren, Avery, Axel Tafoya, Oliver, Blaze Mitchell, Keeler, Kallahan Baker, Luka, Grant Baker, Alexander, Phoenix Houghton, Bryon, Brody Webb, Haylee, Sutter Seger and Rocky Seger.
