It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josefina Guzman (Ulysses, Kansas), born in Del Rio, Texas, who passed away on July 9, 2018, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rogelio Ramirez and Damiana Ramirez (Rubio); and her husband Nasario. She is survived by: her children, Oralia Montoya of Denver, Nasario Guzman, Jr. of Dumas, Francis Morales of Ulysses, Maximo Guzman of Garden City, Sylvia Navarrette of Arkansas City, Alice Valdez of Arkansas City, Gloria Guerrero of Garden City, Sarah Conchas of Falfurrias, Joel Guzman of Arkansas City, Jesse Guzman of Ulysses, Leticia Valdez of Tulsa and Susan Zamarron of Ulysses. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
