He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray V. Hampton and Mary L. Hampton (Smith). He is survived by: his wife Karen Smith; his children, Jamie Hampton (Kevin Eckes) of Tampa, Florida and BJ Hampton of Ulysses; his siblings, Gary Hampton of Ulysses and Linda McHenry of Longdale, Oklahoma; and his grandchildren, Marshall Hampton and Mackenzie Hampton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in support of his niece, Taylee and nephews, Ryan, Urijah and Russell; to Denver Children's Hospital, Shriners Hospital for Children, Hospitality House in Houston or Webb City R-7 Schools Foundation in care of Garnand Funeral Home, 405 W.
