Iva Lou Birney Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Iva Lou Birney of Ulysses, Kansas, who passed away on July 27, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Mosher and Winnie Mae Mosher (Crumpler); her husband Walter Birney; her stepfather Roy Qualls; her sisters, Beulah Mae Mosher and Ruby Nell Darlin (Mosher); and her nephew Gary L. Birney.
She is survived by: her children, Mickey Birney of Ellsworth, Scotty Birney (Kelly) of Garden City, Lorrie Ortiz of Overland Park and Lindie Andreas of Copeland; and her daughter-in-law Tammi Birney. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to CICM or Cookson Hills Christian Mission in care of the funeral home.
