She was predeceased by: her father Arturo Cortez; and her brother-in-law Cesar Manuel Landeros. She is survived by: her mother Gloria Cortez (Rodriguez) of Ulysses; her children, Erasmo Cortez of Houston, Gabby Sanchez of Ulysses, Juan Cortez of Garden City, Yessenia Nava of Ulysses, Brenda Nava of Ulysses, Camila Murillo of Ulysses, Cristina Leyva of Ulysses and Cristal Leyva of Ulysses; and her brother Juan Cortez.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Fidencia Cortez Memorial Fund in care of Garnand Funeral Home, 405 W. Grant Ave., Ulysses, Kansas 67880.
