Elizabeth Hastert Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth Hastert of Ulysses, Kansas, born in Garnett, Kansas, who passed away on January 3, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Holmes and Doris Holmes (White); her son John Hastert; her siblings, Laura Parks, Carol Miller and Charlie Holmes; her parents-in-law, Tony and Mary Hastert; and her brothers-in-law, Edmond Smith, Dennis Sr. Hastert (Joyce), Don Hastert and Tom Thompson.
She is survived by: her husband Vern Hastert; her children, Jay Hastert (Amy) of Osawatomie, KS and Jolene'Jo'Prochko (Jerry) of Olathe, KS; her grandchildren, Jenna, Brint (Adrianne), Jacob Hastert, Cole, Ann Prochko, Jordan and Graham Mullen; her great grandchildren, Gabe, Tyler and Roman; her sister Margaret Smith; and her siblings-in-law, Charles Lee Parks, Chuck Miller, Darlene Thompson, Marvel Hastert and Glenn Hastert (Ruth Lee). She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and great friends.
