It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Mangels of Ulysses, Kansas, born in Wichita, Kansas, who passed away on October 30, 2021, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Carl and Velma Hazel Mangels (Joyner); and his siblings, David Mangels, Carl Mangels, Vikki Mayers and Judy Caldwell.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Mangels of Ulysses; his children, Edward "Spudd" Mangels, Bria Schoonover of Garden City, Steven Akers (Elyssa) of Fort Worth, Stephanie Carter (AJ) of Ulysses, Audrey Mangels of Nashville and Amanda Mangels of Lebanon, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Serriana Schuldt, Dakota Warren, Brianna Warren, Amber Warren, Robby Carter, Khloe Carter, Eleanor Carter, Autumn Allen, Willow Allen, Aurora Mangels, Betty Mangels, Austin Fowler and Chelsey Fowler; his nieces and nephews, Brandon Davis, Timberly Mader and Dannyale Florer; and his brothers, Darrel Mangels (Pat) of Ulysses and Lloyd Mangels of Franklin, Tennessee..
