She was predeceased by: her parents, Luis Gutierrez and Beatrice Castanon; her siblings, Luis Gutierrez, Jr., Arthur Gutierrez, Delfina Aragon, Judy Martinez, Rachel Ramos, Lucy Fite, Francis Quintana and Dorothy Marquez; and her grandson Agustine Ortiz.
She is survived by: her spouse Charles Frank Romero; her children, Tina Ortiz (Cipriano) of Turpin, Joyan Romero of Ulysses, Andy Romero (Shannon) of Edmond, Arthur Romero (Stephanie) of Millbrook and Chuck Romero (Renee) of Guymon; her sisters, Teresa Gomez of Wichita, Cecelia Gamboa of Wichita and Julie Retana of Wichita; and her grandchildren, Balente Ortiz (Getana) of Hugoton, Juan Ortiz (Clara) of Turpin, Maria Ortiz of Turpin, Nicolas Ortiz of Turpin, Christopher Romero of Hugoton, Desiree Darnell (Ricky) of Guymon, Eric Romero (Brenda) of Hooker, Brandon Romero of Hooker, Andrea Frye (Richard) of Portsmouth, Aaron Romero (Bailey) of Hooker, Arthur Romero, Jr. of Guymon and Jacob Romero of Ulysses. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
