He was predeceased by: his parents, Crispin Ybarra and Josefina Ybarra (Gomez); his siblings, Reymundo Mata, Epifanio Mata, Domingo Mata, Alberto Mata, Tiodora Rodriguez, Maria Ybarra and Guadalupe Diaz; and his great grandchild Ezri Chavez Ybarra.
He is survived by: his wife Corina Velasquez; his children, Debra Maupin (Bob) of Ulysses and Michael Ybarra; his daughters-in-law, Vanessa of Ulysses and Paula Ybarra of Ulysses; his brothers, Candido Ybarra of Ulysses and Juan Ybarra of Phoenix; his grandchildren, Zac Ybarra (Cody), Joshua Ybarra, Chelsea Reyes (Ariel), Tia Ybarra, Lydia Glover and Royce Glover; and his great grandchildren, Ripley Ybarra, Ronin Ybarra, Easton Chavez and Zahli Reyes.
Memorial contributions may be given to Mary, Queen of Peace Catholic Church or Harry Hynes Hospice, both in care of Garnand Funeral Home, 405 W. Grant Ave, Ulysses, Kansas 67880.
