David Higgs Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Higgs of Ulysses, Kansas, born in Rocky Ford, Colorado, who passed away on February 22, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Carl and Frances Lou Anna Higgs (Coats); his siblings, Curt Higgs, Carl Higgs and Janice Tully; his niece Shelly Dawn Higgs; his nephew Shane Peikert; his parents-in-law, Joan Lewis and Ed Lewis; and his brothers-in-law, Rusty Carpenter and Harry Wyeno.
He is survived by: his wife Teri Lewis; his sons, Wes Higgs (Angie) of Cheney and Will Higgs (Angela) of Bixby, Oklahoma; his sisters, Darla Lee Wyeno of Denver, Lou Ann Summers (Merle) of Blackwell and Tracie Lamberson (Garry) of Kennewick, Washington; his siblings-in-law, Sue Higgs of Ulysses, Mark Tully of Pagosa Springs, Colorado, Tim Lewis (Jan) of Ralls, Texas and Allison Carpenter of Norman, Oklahoma; and his grandchildren, Ryeder, Braden, Jared, Dayton and Aaron. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
