He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. Slemp and Nina Slemp (Beasley); his siblings, John R. Slemp (Bud), Betty Teeter and Peggy Merwin; his siblings-in-law, Ralph Teeter and Wanda Slemp; and his niece Jana Slemp.
He is survived by: his nephews, David Slemp (Kathy) of Wichita, Lynn Teeter (Tracy) of Ulysses, Larry Slemp (Connie) of Hugoton and George W. Merwin IV (Karen) of Hurst, Texas; and his niece Carole Rodgers (Gene) of Kaw City.
