He was predeceased by: his parents, Lizzie Ann (Hampton) and Houston LaFever; his siblings, Janice Mozelle, Marshall and Ronald; his stepson Jason Harwood; and his pet Bandit.
He is survived by: his wife Becky LaFever; his daughters, Tamara Lisle of Valley Center, Laura Bolton (Clinton) of Meade, KS, Sharla Loucks (Brian) of Hutchinson, KS and Jennifer Waldron (Luke) of Dodge City, KS; his stepson Jeremy Harwood (Holly) of St. Mary's, KS; his grandchildren, Matthew Lisle, Desarae McKee, Paige Fee, Dylan Bolton, Wyatt Bolton, Kody Harwood, Cheyenne Lisle, Tyler Harwood, Lawson, Marissa Loucks, Izzy Harwood, Jillian Waldron and Jordan Waldron; his great grandchildren, Zakary, Alice, Jameson, Macyn, Layla and Bobby; his sister Sis Dupree of Hutchinson, KS; and his pet Scooby.
