He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Upshaw and Mary Upshaw; and his sister Mary Kay Weinant. He is survived by: his wife Linda McHenry; his daughter Clancy Upshaw; his son-in-law Jared Stringham of Oklahoma City; his stepchildren, Dana Hasenbank (Russell) of Plains, Teri Berschauer (Lynnie) of Hutchinson and Troy McHenry (Kathleen) of Alpha; his sister Anne Armstrong; and his nephew Ben Staggs. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Shriners Hospital for Children in care of Garnand Funeral Home, 405 W. Grant Ave, Ulysses, KS 67880.
