She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert V. Smith and Edith Mae Smith (Talmage); her son Galeon Brown, Jr.; and her grandson Kevin Brown. She is survived by: her husband Bobby Pennel; her children, Teresa Kinast (Marty Goon) of Turon, Mark Brown (Barbara) of Stockton, Beth Ann Cashwell (Vernon) of Kingsland, Georgia, Bobby Brown of Sarasota, Jason Pennel of Topeka, Amanda Pennel of Hutchinson, Marty Shubert (Andy) of Superior, Neb and Stephanie Valentine (Randy) of Hutchinson; her brother Roger Dean Smith of Troy Madison, Illinois; and her children-in-law, Vincent Kinast of Hutchinson and Cheryl Brown of Jacksonville, Florida. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
