She was predeceased by: her parents, Bennie Taylor and Alice Taylor (Plautz); and her husband Richard Blanton. She is survived by: her son Anthony Taylor (Brooke); her grandchild Kylee Lewallen (Eddie); her great grandchildren, Cordelia, Ryder, Leo and Blake; and her siblings, Carol Jean Wulf (Willis), Debbie Durbin (Gary) and Tim Taylor.

In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the KU Cancer Center.
